William S. McElroy

William S. McElroy

William S. McElroy, born September 22, 1893, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, was tennis player in the early part of the 20th century.

At the tournament now known as the Cincinnati Masters, McEllroy won the singles title in 1913 and 1914, the doubles title in 1913 (with Joseph J. Armstrong) and was a singles finalist in 1915 (falling to future International Tennis Hall of Fame inductee Clarence Griffin.)
