United States Census Bureau , the village has a total area of 0.4square mile s (1.2km² ), of which, 0.4 square miles (1.1 km²) of it is land and 0.04 square miles (0.1 km²) of it (6.67%) is water.Demographics
As of the
census GR|2 of 2000, there were 326 people, 132 households, and 88 families residing in the village. Thepopulation density was 778.8 people per square mile (299.7/km²). There were 139 housing units at an average density of 332.0/sq mi (127.8/km²). The racial makeup of the village was 97.55% White, 2.15% from other races, and 0.31% from two or more races. 2.15% of the population wereHispanic orLatino of any race.There were 132 households out of which 28.0% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 53.8% were married couples living together, 9.1% had a female householder with no husband present, and 32.6% were non-families. 24.2% of all households were made up of individuals and 18.9% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.47 and the average family size was 2.92.
In the village the population was spread out with 23.9% under the age of 18, 7.1% from 18 to 24, 31.9% from 25 to 44, 17.5% from 45 to 64, and 19.6% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 38 years. For every 100 females there were 87.4 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 89.3 males.
