census GR|2 of 2000, there were 567 people, 224 households, and 161 families residing in the town. Thepopulation density was 16.4 people per square mile (6.3/km²). There were 260 housing units at an average density of 7.5/sq mi (2.9/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 97.00% White, 1.06% Native American, 0.53% Asian, 0.88% from other races, and 0.53% from two or more races. 1.23% of the population wereHispanic orLatino of any race.There were 224 households out of which 33.5% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 65.6% were married couples living together, 5.4% had a female householder with no husband present, and 27.7% were non-families. 23.2% of all households were made up of individuals and 6.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.53 and the average family size was 3.03.
