census GR|2 of 2000, there were 923 people, 325 households, and 261 families residing in the village. Thepopulation density was 824.3 people per square mile (318.2/km²). There were 339 housing units at an average density of 302.7/sq mi (116.9/km²). The racial makeup of the village was 99.67% White, 0.11% Native American, and 0.22% from two or more races. 0.33% of the population wereHispanic orLatino of any race.There were 325 households out of which 42.2% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 71.1% were married couples living together, 6.5% had a female householder with no husband present, and 19.4% were non-families. 13.8% of all households were made up of individuals and 7.4% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.84 and the average family size was 3.15.
In the village the population was spread out with 29.4% under the age of 18, 9.1% from 18 to 24, 30.3% from 25 to 44, 22.5% from 45 to 64, and 8.7% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 34 years. For every 100 females there were 94.7 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 97.6 males.
