Occasional Segments

*Fan Letters - Listeners are given the opportunity to send in stories on various themes throughout the year. These range from bad break-up stories, lawn care disaster stories, home improvement gone wrong, bad camping experiences, Christmas time horror stories, and more. Every entry that is read on the show gets put into a hopper. At the end of the reading session (which usually lasts one week with two sets of stories over the course of one morning) one letter is selected at random to receive a grand prize that usually has something to do with the theme of the stories sent in. For example, when the camping stories were read in June 2006, the grand prize winner received a GPS navigation unit and Binoculars. Every entry that is read also receives a small prize as well.

*Where you goin', What you takin' - B&B along with Carrie take calls from listeners (usually around major holidays) and simply ask "Where you goin', what you takin'". Callers reply with where they are traveling to and what they are bringing along.

*Every December around Christmas, along with the other rock jocks at the station, they have a week or two of remote broadcast where they solicit food donations for the Hunger Task Force of Milwaukee. [ http://www.hungertaskforce.org/]

*In April, they host the 28 hour Radiothon for Leukemia & Lymphoma. The Radiothon includes guest interviews from around the sports and entertainment industry. Donated items ranging from local business establishment products to items collected throughout the year from the many concerts and events WHQG 102.9 sponsor. All proceeds from the Radiothon go to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

*They also have various character voices used during discussion segments.
**A very heavy breathing sleaze ball voice, whereas everything they say, no matter how innocent sounds disgusting and dirty.
**A radio student who speaks in a low, monotone voice.
**Various international accents, especially those from eastern Europe.
*Carrie also has a few
**A trailer park, smokin', boozin' single mom.
**A narrator for national geographic documentaries.
