"Tourniquet" is a cover song by alternative metal band Evanescence, featured on their 2003 debut album, "Fallen". It is originally by the Christian death metal band Soul Embraced, and was part of their 2000 debut album, "For the Incomplete", on which it was titled "My Tourniquet".

When Soul Embraced guitarist Rocky Gray joined Evanescence as their drummer, Evanescence performed their own adaptation of the song, which added a second verse. Before arriving at the version present on "Fallen", Evanescence recorded at least two demo versions, each slightly different. In the demo versions, a clip from Baz Luhrmann's 1996 film "William Shakespeare's Romeo + Juliet" is played during the bridge and the line "I long to die!" can be heard. In the "Fallen" version, Evanescence lead singer Amy Lee changed the line slightly, screaming "I want to die!"
