"Hold On" is a song by Magnet. It was released as the first single from his third full-length album "The Tourniquet" in the UK on August 15, 2005. The single was released on double 7" vinyl commercially. The singles were released on colored vinyl (yellow for disc one, white for disc two) inside a gatefold sleeve. At the time of release, a contest was promoted with the single. 200 copies of the single came with signed lyric sheets, and one copy included "a prize trip to Norway for a magical Magnet experience." A promo CD was released to radio stations, featuring the B-sides to the 7" singles (as well as one unreleased track, "Grinder"). Then, in early 2006, a limited edition tour EP was released by Filter Recordings in the US only featuring B-sides and two new remixes. Finally, on February 6, 2006, a 12" vinyl single was released in the UK featuring two remixes by Lindstrom.
