Released as the album'slead single in November 2003, it was co-produced by Keys and West, and contains a sample from the 1976 song "Let Me Prove My Love to You", written byJ. R. Bailey , Mel Kent, and Ken Williams and performed byThe Main Ingredient . The song became Keys' third top ten hit in the United States, peaking at number three on the "Billboard" Hot 100, and also stayed atop theHot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs for eight weeks. Furthermore, the song won aGrammy Award for Best R&B Song in 2005 and aSoul Train Music Award for Best R&B/Soul Single, Female in 2004.Music video
The video, directed by Chris Robinson, follows Keys working as a waitress at a café. One day, Keys meets a man (played by
