Kim Clarke Champniss

Kim Clarke Champniss is a Canadian television personality and musician, best known as a VJ for MuchMusic in the 1980s. He began his career in music as a manager for New Wave bands such as Images in Vogue.

Champniss joined MuchMusic as host of its alternative rock programming, including "City Limits". He subsequently left the network in the early 1990s and formed his own media production company, Invisible Republic. He also served as a contributing producer for MuchMusic's arts and culture sister channel Bravo!

In 1997, he also released the album "A Sound Mind", which was credited to KCC & Dancespeak.

In 2005, Champniss returned to an on-air role, hosting the series "The Word This Week" on BookTelevision and A-Channel.

He was born in Bahrain and rasied in London, England.

2007-08 Kim is now executive producer of E! Entertainment's Canada division.
