Schiller International University is a private American university with seven campuses in six countries. They are located in
London, England ;Paris andStrasbourg, France ;Madrid, Spain ;Heidelberg, Germany ; Leysin, Switzerland; andLargo, Florida . SIU offers Associate's, Bachelor's andMaster's degree s in a number of areas.Founded in1964 by Dr. Walter Leibrecht as a study abroad program for Americans in Germany, it now provides undergraduate and graduate education to students from over 100 countries. Most Schiller campuses are in or near major cities offering abundant cultural opportunities in which students are actively encouraged to participate. The University is unique in that it gives students the opportunity to transfer from one campus to another, from one country to another, remaining in the same university without loss of time or credit.Accreditation

Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools , an accrediting body authorized by the US Department of Education to accredit private post secondary institutions offering programs for careers or professions where business applications or doctrines, supervisory or management techniques, professional or paraprofessional applications, and other business-related applications support or constitute the career.In addition, the campuses in Paris, London and Madrid are accredited by the British Accreditation Council for Independent Further and Higher Education [http://www.the-bac.org/] .
Schiller International University, Madrid, is officially recognized in Madrid by the "Consejeria de Educacion".
Schiller International University, Heidelberg, is officially recognized by Kultusministerium Baden-Württemberg.
Major academic programs offered at Schiller campuses, and many online, include International Business, Business Administration, International Relations and Diplomacy, Management of INformation Technology, Hospitality and Tourism Management, Psychology, Computer Engineering (only on the masters degree level,)Communications.
English is the language of instruction on every Schiller campus and students may relocate from campus to campus while continuing their academic program providing a unique travel perspective for students.
Schiller is unique in that while it is truly an international university it features the American system of education. Every campus is small by design in order to provide indiviual attention to each student since they come from so many nations.
