Since it was established in Singapore and Malaysia in 1950, Stamford College has built a reputation for providing high quality education in the ASEAN region.
Stamford International University, Thailand was established as a joint effort between Thailand and Malaysia combining the highest standards of an all English language education with a modern and innovative curriculum based upon the finest international education systems.
The international curriculum has been designed to prepare the students to meet the challenges of a globalized business environment Credits can be transferred to colleges and universities at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels worldwide.
Stamford International University joined forces with Schiller International University of the United States on February 14, 2000 under the academic collaboration agreement. Schiller International University is a fully accredited University in Florida, and also has campuses in England, France, Germany, Spain and Switzerland. The main objective of the agreement was to provide Thai and International students at Stamford, Hua Hin an opportunity to study in any of the 8 campuses of Schiller in Europe and the United States, through study abroad programs offered under the students exchange agreement between the two Universities.

The Stamford main campus is located in Cha Am – Hua Hin area and is comprised of uniquely designed buildings for academic and residential purposes. The campus is set on a picturesque landscape of more than 100 rais of natural beauty overlooking mountains and the Gulf of Thailand. It stands as part of the Palm Hills Golf Resort and includes an 18-hole championship golf course, clubhouse and large country club with a variety of indoor and outdoor sports. The campus is just 168 kilometers southwest of Bangkok.
The campus, coupled with the splendor of the Green Mountains and the panoramic landscape, offers a superb environment in which to learn, to recreate, and to grow. The Administrative Building is a three-story building which houses most of the college functions including classrooms, The Academic Affairs department, the Student Affairs department, faculty offices, Vice President and President offices, and the Health Center. On the ground level is the Library and Learning Resource Center, Mini Store, College Bookstore, the canteen, and meeting areas. The sound lab and computer facilities, including the internet service, located on the third floor, provide support for all students.
