G. M. Banatwalla

G.M. Banatwalla (born 15 August, 1933 in Bombay, died 25 June, 2008 in Mumbai [ [http://www.twocircles.net/2008jun25/iuml_leader_g_m_banatwala_dead.html IUML leader G.M. Banatwala dead | TwoCircles.net ] ] ) is an Indian politician and teacher. He was Member of Parliament in 13th Lok Sabha, representing the constituency of Ponnani in the State of Kerala. He is a member of the Muslim League Kerala State Committee ("MLKSC").

His educational qualifications include a Master of Commerce (M.Com.) and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.). Banatwalla was educated at the Sydenham College of Commerce and Economics, and S.T. College, both in Bombay.

On 21 February 1960 he married Dr. Ayesha Banatwalla, who has since died.
