Past_members = Neal Slateford Nick BattDNA was the
pseudonym taken by two Britishdance music producers for issuing aremix ofSuzanne Vega 's "Tom's Diner " in 1990.They have been mistakenly acredited with the name "The DNA Disciples" apparently to avoid confusion with the no wave band, - this is in fact untrue. As well as Tom's Diner, they produced a second Suzanne Vega remix, "Rusted Pipe" and a radio mix for "Rosemary" in 2000. After a quiet spell, DNA reappeared with a mix of the
Loreena McKennitt track "The Mummers' Dance" which landed the coveted Billboard Hot 100 number one Airplay slot in 1999. Nick Batt has worked extensively withGoldfrapp on "Felt Mountain ", "Black Cherry" and "Supernature "; he also received an Ivor Novello award for co-writing "Strict Machine" from Black Cherry.Personnel
