Al Baik (البيك) is a chain of fast food restaurants in Saudi Arabia that primarily sells broasted chicken and shrimp with a variety of sauces. The chain has twenty-four branches in Jeddah, along with five in Mecca, one in Medina and one in Yanbu. However, the company is currently under pressure from its consumers outside Saudi Arabia to open international locations. Evidence of this can be found in numerous groups on Facebook and Orkut, mainly supported by university students. Al Baik has its branches currently in Jeddah, Makkah, Medina and Yanbu. The Company is banned to expand its branches outside these cities.

Comparison with International Food chains

Al Baik's prices are lower than similar international fast food chains that it competes with, including McDonald's and KFC. Al Baik's meals generally cost about 12 Saudi Riyals, about 30 percent less than at the international chains. KFC one of the most successful fast chain across the world is not popular in Jeddah as Albaik dominates it. Evidence of this could be found in Tahlia street (Jeddah) where Al baik and KFC are side by side. Al baik is crowded most of the time unlike KFC which is empty most of the time.
