Kemblesville Elementary

The School was built in 1955, and was closed down in 2002. It was apart of the Avon Grove School District. The reason for the close of the school was the building of Avon Grove Intermediate school. Avon Grove Intermediate houses grades 3-6, and grades k-2 are housed in Penn London Elementary. After being closed, it was a very popular spot for vandals. It is currently the property of The Avon Grove Charter School, and security cameras have been used to stop the increase in vandalism since its abandonment. Renovations on the school began in early 2008. The goal of the school is to reopen before the 2008-2009 school year.
