Parapsychology is a discipline that seeks to demonstrate the existence and causes of
psychic abilities and life after death using thescientific method . Phenomena studied includeextra-sensory perception ,psychokinesis , and survival of consciousness after death; parapsychologists call these phenomena "psi", a neutral term non-suggestive of what causes the phenomena or experiences.
