*Note 1: There were two characters code named "Airborne". It is possible
Hasbro did not realize they used the same name for a different character.
*Note 2: There were two characters code named "Long Range" and possibly for the same reason that Hasbro overlooked their character inventory. The second Long Range appears in the series.
*Note 3: There were two characters code named "General Flagg ," but there is a reason for this. The second figure made of General Flagg is actually the father of the first figure made. The file card of the second figure erroneously names him as his son. However, he was intended (as per the comic he was released with at the time) to be the original General Flagg.
*Note 4 Robo-Joe's real name is listed as Greg Scott, the same name used for Lifeline's version 5 and 6 filecards.COBRA
*Note 5: The second Croc Master's file card states that he is the successor of the original Croc Master, who perished in the freighter (see "G.I. Joe casualties").
* Note that 1985 was the last year that generic COBRA troopers had their filename listed as either Classified, Unknown or Top Secret. They have been put in brackets to distinguish them from other 'unknown' people who are actually individuals whose filenames were not given.
