This is a list of titles featuring the popular Spider-Man character from Marvel Comics.

Ongoing titles as of 2007

Spider-Man first appeared in "Amazing Fantasy" #15. After that, he was given his own series. Many followed, and as of August 2007, the related titles are:

*"The Amazing Spider-Man" #1–441, Vol. 2 #1–58, #500- (Marvel Comics; March 1963–November 1998, January 1999–December 2003, January 2004—). Written by J. Michael Straczynski, and penciled by Joe Quesada.
*"Spider-Man Family" #1— (Marvel Comics; February 2007—), Written and penciled by various writers and artists.
*"New Avengers" #1— (Marvel Comics; January 2005—, continuation of "Avengers" Vol. 3). Written by Brian Michael Bendis and penciled by Leinil Francis Yu.

*"Ultimate Spider-Man" #1— (Marvel Comics/Ultimate Marvel; October 2000—), Written by Brian Michael Bendis and penciled by Stuart Immonen, set in the Ultimate Marvel Universe.
*"Spider-Man Loves Mary Jane" #1—20 (Marvel Comics; December 2005—September 2007, sequel to "Mary Jane" and "Mary Jane: Homecoming" miniseries). Currently on hiatus, to be written by Terry Moore. Set outside the regular Marvel Universe continuity.
*"The Amazing Spider-Girl" #1— (Marvel Comics; October 2006—. Written by Tom DeFalco and penciled by Ron Frenz and Sal Buscema). Set in an alternate future, starring Spider-Man's daughter.
*"Marvel Adventures Spider-Man" #1— (Marvel Comics/Marvel Adventures; May 2005—; continuation of "Marvel Age Spider-Man"). Written and penciled by various. Set during Spider-Man's high school years, but never referenced by other titles. Set in its own continuity.

*"Astonishing Spider-Man" #1— (Panini Comics/Marvel UK; Unknown month 1994—). Part of Marvel UK's "Collector Edition" line, reprinting US stories from 2–3 years earlier.

Previous series

Spider-Man also has had a number of series that are since cancelled or have been given new names:
*"Spectacular Spider-Man" #1-2, (1968) a black and white magazine format series.
*"Marvel Team-Up" #1-150 (1972-1985), a series that featured Spider-Man paired with a different Marvel Comics super-hero each month. That original version was replaced by "Web of Spider-Man" in 1985. Subsequent versions featured Spider-Man heavily, but not in every issue.
*"Giant-Size Spider-Man" #1-6 (1974-1975). Began in July 1974. The comics were much larger than the other Spider-man books at the time and had multiple stories, with the second one usually being a reprint of some earlier Spider-man story.
*"The Spectacular Spider-Man" #1-263 (1976-1998), originally called "Peter Parker, the Spectacular Spider-Man", was renamed in 1988 with issue #134 and cancelled with issue #263 (1998).
*"Web of Spider-Man" #1-129 (1985-1995). Replaced "Marvel Team-Up".
*"" #1-98 (1991-1998), a series created in 1991 specifically for creator Todd McFarlane, later renamed "Peter Parker: Spider-Man" at the end of the Clone Saga. Relaunched with volume 2.
*"Untold Tales of Spider-Man", #1-25 (1995-1997) a series that told new stories set in Spider-Man's early super-hero career, lasted 26 issues (there was a -1) and two Annuals.
*"The Sensational Spider-Man" #1-33 (1996-1998), cancelled at the same time "Spectacular Spider-Man" was cancelled & "Amazing Spider-Man" and "Peter Parker: Spider-Man" were relaunched. The title was revived with the renaming of the "Marvel Knights Spider-Man" serial in 2006.
*"" #1-18 (1998-1999) another retcon series, similar to Untold Tales of Spider-Man, but with rotating creative teams telling stories of different time periods.
*"" Vol. 2 #1-57 (1998-2002)
*"Spider-Man's Tangled Web" #1-22 (2002-2004) an anthology series where new, alternative and Vertigo comics creators were given a shot at telling stories featuring the character. The title was replaced by the "Marvel Knights Spider-Man".
*"The Spectacular Spider-Man" vol. 2 #1-27 (2003-2005).
*"Marvel Knights Spider-Man" #1-22 (2004-2006). Replaced "Spider-Man's Tangled Web". Renamed "The Sensational Spider-Man (vol. 2)" with #23.
*"Spider-Man Unlimited" Vol. 3 #1-15 (2004-2006), showcasing Spider-Man in stories by new writing talent.
*"Spider-Girl" (Marvel Comics, #0-100 (October 1998 - July 2006), sequel to What If #105, February, 1998). Written by Tom DeFalco and illustrated by Ron Frenz. Set in an alternate future, starring Spider-Man's daughter. Continued in "The Amazing Spider-Girl"

*"Deadly Foes of Spider-Man" #1-4 (Marvel Comics, May 1991 - August 1991; Writer: Danny Fingeroth, Pencillers: Al Milgrom and Kerry Gammill) - A mini-series featuring the Sinister Syndicate.
*"Lethal Foes of Spider-Man" #1-4 (Marvel Comics, September 1993 - December 1993; Writer: Danny Fingeroth, Penciller: Scott McDaniel) - Sequel miniseries to "Deadly Foes of Spider-Man".
*"Spider-Man: The Arachnis Project"
*"Spider-Man: The Lost Years" #1-3; #0 (Marvel Comics, August 1995 - October 1995, Writer: J.M. DeMatteis, Penciller: John Romita, Jr; January 1996) A story starring Ben Reilly, set at the halfway point between his "birth" and return to New York, during his travels. Specifically set in Salt Lake City, Utah, where he was framed for murder by Kaine. Zero issue was separate, and a "primer" for Ben Reilly taking over as Spider-Man.
*"Spider-Man: The Final Adventure" #1-4 (Marvel Comics, December 1995 - March 1996, Writer: Fabian Nicieza, Penciller: Darick Robertson.) - Peter Parker and his very pregnant wife Mary Jane move to Portland. The miniseries ends with Peter losing his spider-powers.
*"Spider-Man: Redemption" #1-4 (Marvel Comics, September 1996 - December 1996, Writer J.M. DeMatteis, Penciller: Mike Zeck) Sequel miniseries to "The Lost Years", set in the then-present day.
*"" #1-6, #0, #7-12 (Marvel Comics, December 1998 - October 1999; Writer/Penciller: John Byrne) a retcon miniseries retelling Spider-Man's earliest adventures. Later disavowed from continuity.
*"Spider-Man/Daredevil" #1-4 (Marvel Comics/Marvel Knights, January 2001 - April 2001; Writer: Paul Jenkins, Penciller: Phil Winslade)

*"Spider-Man: Quality of Life" #1-4 (Marvel Comics, July 2002 - October 2002) - A CG mini-series written by Greg Rucka dealing with Curt Connors attempting to find a cure, for his cancer-stricken wife.

*"Spider-Man: Get Kraven" #1-6 (Marvel Comics, August 2002 - December 2002) - A mini-series about Al Kravinoff, the son of Kraven the Hunter, wanting to make a movie. Critically molested as "awful on every level," and cancelled one issue early as a result, with a talking dog announcing the fact on the last page of the last issue.
*"" #1-6 (Marvel Comics/Marvel Knights, August 2002 - January 2006; Writer: Kevin Smith, Penciller: Terry Dodson) - Infamously late miniseries, with a three-year hiatus between issues three and four, which was finally released December 2005.
*"Spider-Man/Wolverine" #1-4 (Marvel Comics/Marvel Knights, August 2003 - November 2003; Writer: Brett Matthews, Penciller: Vatche Mavlian) - A mini-series about Spider-Man going to Japan to rescue a captured Wolverine. Not to be confused with the February 1987 "Spider-Man vs. Wolverine" one-shot.
*"Trouble" #1-5 (Marvel Comics, September 2003 – January 2004; Writer: Mark Millar, Penciller: Terry Dodson) - Originally intended as the story of Peter Parker's conception; later declared non-canonical.
