Chris Field is a United Kingdom based rock and roll singer/songwriter and recording artist who was discovered by music producer Bob Rose while on tour with Julian Lennon.

Before crossing the channel to pursue his musical career. Chris Field's early musical days were spent playing guitar in Vancouver, Canada in various Acid Rock groups. Field's then moved to Toronto, Canada and built a name for himself in the city as one of the wildest psychedelic guitar players on the Canadian music scene.

Chris Field was signed to FOD Records [3] in 2004 and recorded his debut at Rockfield Studios in Wales and Air Studios in London. Fields debut is titled Powis Square after the infamous west London block. The song "Only the Rich Survive" from Powis Square was written by Chris Field after spending a night drinking and talking politics with Hunter S. Thompson on the west coast of Canada. The video for the single "Make it Tonight" was filmed in London at Abbey Road Studios. Field rides a custom chopper in the video which was supplied to him by rock and roll tour manager Phil Kaufman."

Powis Square includes special guests Sam Brown, Blondie bassist Nigel Harrison and Robert Plant guitarist Robbie Blunt.

Chris Field has been cast by U.K director Tony Van Den Ende [4] to play the lead role in a film based on events in the life and times of psychedelic renegade Syd Barrett. Preproduction started in spring 2009 in London. Chris field releases "Steel Tiger"[5] summer 2011 on Warmgun Records [6].
