Yorkhill Elementary School is a Canadian primary school in Thornhill, Ontario. The public school, operated by York Region District School Board teaches from Kindergarten to grade eight.

Building

The school, which opened in 1987, was designed to look somewhat different than a typical school, and in someways more like a mall"Education changes its image" By Kim Zarzour, Toronto Star. Hebrew school

The school also hosts the Ateret Shalom Hebrew School ( _he. עתרת שלום בית ספר), an after school program, that provides classes once or twice a week to Jewish students (who may or may not attend Yorkhill Elementary).
