HyperWar Project

HyperWar Project

The HyperWar Project is an internet-based project for transforming World War II primary sources into machine-readable format and releasing them into the public domain. It is coordinated by Patrick Clancey and David Newton (for UK resources).

Resources include the official civil and military history series produced by the UnitedStates and the British Commonwealth, as well as contemporary wartime publications suchas Action Reports, Field Manuals, Technical Manuals, training publications, etc. Hypertextlinks are included wherever one publication refers to another.

Additional volunteers are always welcome to help transcribe the enormous volume of materialrelating to World War II.
