Episkopi Bay

Episkopi Bay

Episkopi Bay (Greek: "Κόλπος Επισκοπής", "Kolpos Episkopis"; Turkish: "Piskobu Körfezi") is a part of the Mediterranean Sea on the south-western shore of the island of Cyprus, located between the cities of Paphos and Limassol in the Limassol District. It is famous for its beach and fish restaurants. The UK Sovereign Base Area of Akrotiri borders the bay. Despite the ethnic division of Cyprus in 1974, following the Turkish invasion of the island, a number of Turkish Cypriots chose to remain in the area.
