"Getting There", also known as "Getting There: Sweet 16 and Licensed to Drive", is a 2002 direct-to-video movie starring Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen.

Plot

The story revolves around twin sisters who, after turning 16, go on a road trip without their parents. Their destination is the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, Utah. The two girls, Kylie (Mary-Kate Olsen) and Taylor (Ashley Olsen) along with their friends Sam, Lyndi, Toast and others – head out on their first road trip to the 2002 Winter Olympics in their new Ford Mustang, which they received for their birthday. The friends set out for wild adventures travelling to, at, and going back home. In the movie, Kylie and Sam are romantically involved for a short time. There are many jokes involving Toast that are based on his large appetite. In the end they all are happy again, and the plot degrades into what can only be described as a 30 minute long winter sports music video. But in the alternate ending (included as an extra on the DVD release), Taylor gets Alexander and he gets the gold.
