Ewen Macintosh (born
25 December ,1973 ) is an Englishactor , known for the role of Keith the accountant in "The Office" (for which he is credited as Ewan Macintosh). He has also appeared in "Little Britain " and theChannel 4 series "California Dreaming".He is a keen poker player and has even beaten legendary English poker player Dave "The Devilfish" Ulliott. In 2005 he appeared on the chat show "
Heads Up with Richard Herring " to discuss his career and his love of poker.In 2006 he appeared on
ITV 's late night show "playdate " as a contestant seeking a new woman in his life. He is also friends with one of the show's presenters,Giles Vickers-Jones , who joined Ewen on the set of "California Dreaming". He joinedMakosi from "Big Brother". He has appeared on the sitcomLead Balloon . Macintosh made a cameo appearance in the video forGirls Aloud andSugababes ' cover of "Walk This Way" for Comic Relief, where he has a parking ticket pasted on him byJocelyn Jee Esien fromLittle Miss Jocelyn .He is currently working on a film titled "Clubbing to Death" with
Nick Moran ,Huey Morgan ,Dave Courtney ,Deepak Verma andGary Shail . It is due for release in 2007.Ewen appears in Episode Seven (Douch is a Douche) of the online sitcom Bishop and Douch.
Until early 2008, he shared vocals in the folk group You & Me.
On 26 June 2008 it was reported that Ewen suffered a heart attack whilst out running in north London. However, it was later revealed that he was actually filming a music video for pop band
Delays wherein he plays a man battling to lose weight by jogging. His efforts seem in vain when he stops to buy a burger and collapses into an unconscious state. The video then charts his journey through food heaven and hell before he awakens to return to the glory of his burger.External links
