USS Eugene

USS "Eugene" has been the name of one ship in the United States Navy. However, there have been three other ships in the Navy which have been named after individuals whose first name was Eugene.

* USS "Eugene" (PF-40), a "Tacoma"-class frigate which served in the Pacific from 1944 until 1946.

* USS "Eugene A. Greene" (DD-711), a "Gearing"-class destroyer which served from 1945 until 1972 at which point she served in the Spanish Navy until 1989

* USS "Eugene E. Elmore" (DE-686), a "Rudderow"-class destroyer escort that served from 1943 until 1946

* USS "Eugene F. Price" (No. 839), a minesweeper that served from 1917 until 1919
