Survent is a comprehensive piece of
software for computer-assistedtelephone interviewing (CAPI and CATI) developed byCfMC . It which provides complete capabilities for designing, administering, and managing all of the complexities of sophisticated telephone-based research operations.Survent is the most widely used program of its kind, used by more than 60% of all networked telephone interviewing stations in the U.S. The program's Telephone Number Management System is frequently cited as the standard of excellence in the research industry. Survent was designed especially for use by interviewing agencies who conduct face-to-face interviews in shopping malls, at store exits, during conventions, etc. It can also be used for telephone interviewing at small or large central facilities.
Survent is a natural extension of
CfMC 's product line, which includes software forcross tabulation , statistical testing, and a variety of other research functions. Survent was originally developed in1976 , and was rewritten in C in1981 .
