MECAT (The Middle East Canadian Academy of Technology) is a relatively new institution of higher education in Lebanon. It was officially established in 2000. MECAT main campus is located in the city of Damour, a strategic city between Mount Lebanon and the capital Beirut. The second campus is in Beirut itself, near the Wardieh neighborhood.
