Order of Nakhimov (Russian: Орден Нахимова) is one of the highest naval awards in former USSR and nominally in Russian Federation, along with the order of Ushakov. Established on March 3, 1944, it has two classes, both of them feature an anchor-shaped star. However the first class has a golden elements and red and blue enamel.The first class was awarded 82 times, including the naval units, such as 1st torpedo-boat brigade of Sevastopol and 1st Red Banner torpedo-boat brigade of the Baltic Fleet. The second class was awarded 469 times, including two naval units. The order is to be worn on the right side of the chest.
