There are currently "modules" for eHomework, eLessons, Revision Timetabler, Daily Timetable, Reports, Email, and even a built-in FTP client. It requires Microsoft Access 2000 or later, as it is an Access database.
Obelisk SRC has three main modules, accessible from the control panel on loading the application. These are eHomework, eLessons and Reports. Other modules available under the Utilities module include Email, which displays the contents of the user's Microsoft Outlook inbox, FTP Viewer which displays the contents of the developer's FTP server in the Windows Explorer shell, a search engine to search various types of data in the system, and a stripped-down Web browser which is used to access and test the system over the Internet, for example from home to access homework assignments. There is a Netmeeting Client embedded in one form for users to chat with both their teachers and other students.
