Simbad=ADS+2151Pi Arietis (π Ari / π Arietis) is a
star system in theconstellation Aries. It is approximately 603light years fromEarth .The primary component, π Arietis A, is a
spectroscopic binary which is classified as a blue-white B-type main sequence dwarf with anapparent magnitude of +5.26. It's two components have an orbital period of 3.85 days and are separated by approximately 0.00004arcsecond s. At 3.2arcsecond s from the binary is π Arietis B, which is a white A-type main sequence star with an apparent magnitude of 8.8. It is probably an optical companion. At 25.2arcsecond s from A is π Arietis C, which is a magnitude +10.9 yellow-white F-type main sequence star.External links
