Eta Arae or IDS 16411-5852 A (η Ara / η Arae) is a binary star in the constellation Ara. It is approximately 313 light years from Earth.

The primary component, η Arae A, is an orange K-type giant with an apparent magnitude of +3.77. It has a 14th magnitude companion, η Arae B, 25.7 arcseconds away.
