MP3 Unsigned

MP3unsigned.com is one of the many websites that sprung up during 2004 and now hosts many independent artists. Thousands of artists are now on the site and many are creating collaborations with other artists through its thriving online community. Several members have signed major deals as a result of being on "Mp3unsigned.com", for example Chris Brown, Cassie, and many others with indie labels.

Arguably the greatest feature of "MP3Unsigned.com" is the close-knit community of artists (revolving around its forums) who regularly work together on collaborations, and offer constructive criticism and helpful advice on each others work. This is very much the core ethos of the site, give and take, and is the feature which sets it furthest apart from the competition. If you wish to grow and improve as an artist, there are few resources on the internet as valuable.

The design is, however, seemingly out-dated and could do with a pick me up on the opening page of the site. Like most music websites, MP3Unsigned has some bad artists, and others that just promote themselves. All in all, a great website, which, if you put the time into it, will prove very handy. Not everything is clear at first, as in how things are meant to be done, but past all of that there is a community of excellent artists.
