Muhlig-Hofmann Mountains

Muhlig-Hofmann Mountains (coord|72|0|S|5|20|E|) is a major group of associated mountain features extending east-west for 65 miles between the Gjelsvik Mountains and Orvin Mountains in Queen Maud Land. They were discovered by the German Antarctic Expedition under Ritscher, 1938-39, and named for the division director of the German Air Ministry. They were remapped by the Norwegian Antarctic Expedition, 1956-60.
