teaching. It was formerly known as the "Judge Institute of Management Studies".

The School is situated on the site of the original Addenbrooke's Hospital on Trumpington Street, near the University's Fitzwilliam Museum. Its colourful facade is a well known landmark in the city.

The School is named after Sir Paul Judge, who was a key benefactor of the institute which was founded to teach and research management, as well as enhance the university's standing in the business world.

The MBA Programme

Roughly 150 MBA students attend the 12 month programme each year. Admissions standards are very high Fact|date=August 2007 , with a current class average of 694 on the Graduate Management Admission Test. MBA students are divided into teaching groups known as Stream 1 and Stream 2. These groups then complete the core course and are disbanded before students choose from a wide selection of elective courses and a research dissertation.

Rankings and Strengths

Cambridge is widely regarded as one of the top business schools in the world: its MBA program was recently ranked 1st in the UK by the Economist Intelligence Unit, 3rd in Europe and 7th in the world. The School is particularly strong in entrepreneurship and innovation management, and offers related courses and seminars via the Cambridge Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning. The Cambridge Business School Club (CBSC) is a student-run club at the School that promotes partnerships between industry and students through creating interactive learning experiences, and networking opportunities for the entire membership.

Since the school is part of Cambridge University, students have access to a wide variety of cultural, social and athletic groups and activities.
