St Francis de Sales Regional College

St Francis De Sales Regional College is a regional Catholic secondary school in the Riverina town of Leeton, southwestern New South Wales, Australia.

It is one of the largest schools in the Riverina, drawing students from such towns as Griffith, Narrandera, Deniliquin, Coleambally and Hay. A major boarding program accommodates students from around the region, but most of the enrollment comes from Leeton. The school is situated on Yanco Avenue on the southern approach to Leeton and helps establish the town as a significant educational centre.

About once every 2 or 3 years the school stages enormous musical productions which are conducted at a near professional standard thanks to the music department and its dedicated directors and teachers. In 2002 at Leeton's Roxy Theatre St. Francis staged Oliver with an enormous cast and crew. In 2005 St. Francis premierred the production of Buralga which was written by the school's own music teacher and director Mark Ciavarella. Production was undertaken by former student Paul Marin and his own production company employing the use of hundreds of kilometres of cable and thousands of dollars worth of professional equipment including moving lights, smoke machines and other stage equipment. It was filmed and a limited number of dvd's were produced, most going to the cast.

Administration

The principal is Brenda King and the vice principal is Sebastion Spina.
