The site is marked in Nevada by [http://dcnr.nv.gov/markers/mark_168.htm Nevada Historical Marker 168] and [http://dcnr.nv.gov/markers/mark_197.htm Nevada Historical Marker 197] .

History

Built primarily in the late 1910s and viable roughly contemporaneously with Route 66, the road has since been supplanted by Interstate 15 and U.S. Highway 91

Starting in 1915, Charles H. Bigelow drove the entire route many times to generate publicity for the road. [ cite web |url=http://dcnr.nv.gov/markers/mark_168.htm |title= Arrowhead Trail (1914-1924) |accessdate=2007-03-17 |format= |work= ]
