"Born to Do It" is the debut album by English singer Craig David, released in 2000 via Wildstar and 2001 via Atlantic Records. It is highly revered and acclaimed by R&B critics, and contains some of his highest charting singles, as well as fans' favorite music. The album was a huge commercial success eventually selling over 8 million copies worldwide, making it one of the biggest albums by a UK R&B artist ever. It debuted at #1 on the UK Albums Chart and was certified 6x Platinum. The title "Born to Do It" is from the character Willy Wonka in "Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory". The album eventually peaked at #2 on the Australian ARIA Albums Chart after spending nearly 20 weeks on the chart in 2000 it was certified Platinum in the US by RIAA
