Millerand Island or Cap Millerand is a high rugged island 3 miles (4.8 km) in diameter, lying 4 miles (6.4 km) south of Cape Calmette, off the west coast of Graham Land. Millerand Island is located at 68°09′S 67°13′W / 68.15°S 67.217°W / -68.15; -67.217. Millerand Island was discovered by the French Antarctic Expedition (1908-1910) under Jean-Baptiste Charcot. Millerand Island was named by Jean-Baptiste Charcot, presumably for Alexandre Millerand, French statesman.
