Go Betty Go is an all-girl pop punk band from Los Angeles consisting of Emily Wynne-Hughes (vocals), Aixa Vilar (drums), and Betty Cisneros (guitar). The band formed in Glendale, California in 2001 and originally consisted of Betty Cisneros, Michelle Rangel, and the sisters, Aixa and Nicolette Vilar. Career

In 2004, Go Betty Go followed their debut EP "Worst Enemy" with a series of non-stop coast-to-coast appearances, including the Warped Tour. Their music is featured in a range of media, from commercials, films and TV shows like "Punk'd", "One Tree Hill", Spring Break: The Movie and The Entertainment Tonight Insider, to video games such as , , and Fantastic Four, for which the band wrote an original track. They have also been featured in the pages of Alternative Press, Seventeen, L.A. Times and numerous Spanish publications, such as La Opinión, HOY and Latina.

In 2005, the band released "Nothing Is More". Produced by Flogging Molly's Ted Hutt, "Nothing Is More" is leavened with several differing moods and sounds. Themes of desperation and hope are explored, particularly on opener "Saturday" and "Runaway". "The Pirate Song" goes off the beaten path with a tongue-in-cheek magnetism, enhanced by the Pogues’ James Fearnley’s accordion and Ted Hutt’s banjo. A handful of Go Betty Go stage show staples are captured "Crumbling Down", "Donde Voy" and "No Hay Perdon".

Lineup changes

On August 23, 2007, Michelle Rangel announced that she would be leaving the band.
