Cathy Conn, later Cathy Post, was born
30 May 1945 ,Chicago ,Illinois . She had a background insong anddance before meeting Jim at a Canadian provincial fair in 1964. Although the couple recorded other singles, the act - andmarriage - broke up.Cathy re-married twice, became Cat Conn, has three children and five grandchildren, and lives in the mountains, in

Jim, inspired by a New York love-in, wrote the duo's only significant hit single, "Reach Out Of The Darkness". The song was recorded in Nashville,
