Scott Bell was a politician in
Ontario ,Canada . He served as leader of theLibertarian Party of Ontario in the 1980s, and was the party's leader during the 1985 provincial election.Bell worked a teacher, and became involved with the Ontario Libertarian Party at or shortly after its founding in
1974 . He also ran for theCanadian House of Commons on two occasions, as a candidate of theLibertarian Party of Canada .His best showing occurred in the 1985 provincial election, when he won over 6% of the vote against Progressive Conservative cabinet minister
