Mike Dillard Instruments Drums Associated acts The Melvins Mike Dillard was drummer and one of the founding members of The Melvins.[1][2] He left the band in 1984 and was replaced by Dale Crover.[1][2] In 1986 he briefly played in Kurt Cobain's first band, Fecal Matter, before they disbanded.[2]
Dillard returned playing songs off Mangled Demos from 1983 live with Buzz Osborne and Dale Crover (on bass & referred to as Matt Lukin) after the albums 2005 release,[3] including two shows to celebrate Jello Biafra's 50th birthday.[4]
