Border City Wrestling (BCW) is an independent professional wrestling promotion based in Windsor, Ontario. It is the base promotion for several Total Nonstop Action Wrestling superstars, including all of the former Team Canada, Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley. Many BCW employees were trained by Scott D'Amore, the owner and booker of BCW, at the "Can-Am Wrestling School".

BCW was founded in 1993 by D'Amore, Chuck Fader and "The Canadian Destroyer" Doug Chevalier. After Chevalier left Ontario in 1994 and Fader left the company after being diagnosed with throat cancer in 2000, D'Amore became the sole owner. D'Amore closed BCW for several months in late-2000, but re-opened the company later that year.

In 2001, several Extreme Championship Wrestling employees who had been left without full-time work when ECW declared bankruptcy in April 2001 joined the company. On August 29, 2001, BCW held the "Mikey Whipwreck Retirement Bash" to honour the retirement of Mikey Whipwreck. Fader returned to BCW in late-2001 as a publicist when his cancer went into remission.

In 2001 BCW merged with Maximum Pro Wrestling (MXPW) out of Detroit. BCW/MXPW put on a few shows under the MXPW banner. The merger was short lived.

After a hiatus, BCW returned in the Spring of 2004 when BCW owner Scott D'Amore and partner Jeffrey Scott merged with rival Windsor promotion Ontario Championship Wrestling (OCW), partnering with one of OCW's founders, James Trepanier as BCW absorbed the company. Border City began running shows regularly at OCW's former venue.

On December 12 of 2004, D'Amore and BCW, and their partner promotion from Michigan, Prime Time Wrestling, held A Night of Appreciation for Sabu. A highly publicized and successful independent show to raise funds to assist Sabu with costly medical bills he had incurred. The show featured many BCW and TNA wrestlers as well as former WWE star Mick Foley.

On September 15, 2005, BCW held another landmark show as 'International Incident' featured, TNA wrestler Jeff Jarrett defeating Raven for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship with the unexpected help of America's Most Wanted (who turned heel in the process) only 2 weeks before TNA returned to national television on Spike TV. This event was highly publicized as well and became known as "Controversy in Canada" to TNA fans worldwide.

BCW used to hold most of its events at the Ciociaro Club in Oldcastle, a suburb of Windsor. They also partner with Prime Time Wrestling in Detroit, Michigan, which uses several of the same wrestlers. In the summer of 2006 BCW went on hiatus, not holding a show for nearly 2 years.

On May 3, 2008 BCW held it's return show 'Awakening' in Windsor, Ontario. The show featured former WWE & ECW Superstar Al Snow and during the event, BCW Partner Jeffrey Scott announced that "BCW is back, and better than ever!"

Since 'Awakening' BCW has returned to running regularly in Windsor and the surrounding area. During their ECW themed show entitled 'A Night of Extreme' on October 4th, it was announced that BCW is currently working on a 15th Anniversary show that will feature many BCW Wrestlers and Regulars from the past 15 years.
