Monday to Saturday daytimes, there are three trains per hour to Leeds. Evenings and Sundays there are one or two per hour.
Westbound there is an half-hourly service to Manchester Victoria, hourly evenings and Sundays, and an hourly service to Blackpool North via Burnley, Blackburn and Preston (two-hourly evenings and Sundays). Trains running the reverse of this route pass through Bradford &
Leeds and terminate atYork railway station Monday to Saturday there is also an hourly service to Leeds via Brighouse and Dewsbury.
Future plans from December 2008
Northern Rail have proposed changes to the Caldervale line services from December 2008. Three trains per hour will run between Leeds and Manchester Victoria - one will be the current stopping service, one will go via Dewsbury and Brighouse, and include stops at Moston, Mills Hill and Castleton, and one will be a limited stop service - between Bradford and Manchester the service will only call at Halifax, Hebden Bridge, Todmorden and Rochdale.
