Roxanna Panufnik (born 1968) is a British
composer of Polish heritage. She is the daughter of the composer and conductor SirAndrzej Panufnik .Roxanna Panufnik studied composition at the
Royal Academy of Music inLondon . She wrote and presentedBBC Radio 3 ’s "Composer of the Week" on her father in November 1993.In 1995 and 1996, she was selected as the first-ever Composer-in-Residence of the Royal County of Berkshire. As part of that appointment, she taught composition to 300 school children. Other educational work she has done includes programs for theRoyal College of Organists and theCity of London Sinfonia , and a program for school children inBarbados built around her work "Inkle and Yarico".She spent almost a year composing 25 minutes of music to accompany the special Mass celebrating the 75th birthday of the ailing (he died a year later from cancer)
