One of the oldest and most prominent anime studios in Japan, it has also produced numerous animated series airing in other countries such as France, the United States, and Italy. The company currently uses "TMS Entertainment, Ltd." as its corporate name, however the animation studio itself is referred to as nihongo|Tokyo Movie|東京ムービー|Tōkyō Mūbī. The company also has a fully-owned subsidiary, Telecom Animation Film, which often co-animates shows with TMS.
