clan orgotra of Jats andBishnoi (Bishnois are all of Jat origin) inRajasthan ,Haryana andUttar Pradesh inIndia .Origin
In
Hindu mythology , they are considered to be originated fromShiva ’s lock (like all Jats) in parts of Pakistan and Afghanistan. In fact they belong to theNagavanshi race. Beniwal Gotra of Jats of Aryan origin were one of them to occupy parts of Jangladesh. The Jangladesh region corresponds to the planar region of roughly 100 kms extent belt between present day Nagaur and Jodhpur zones of Rajasthan which for sometime fell under the Bikenar rule. They reached here in early period of Christian era and ruled till

Bika and Kandal were spreading their rule in Jangladesh in 15th century. At that time Beniwal Shimha were ruling over about 150 villages in Jangladesh region. Their capital was at ‘Rai Selana’ and their king was Raisall. Raisall was a simple and brave ruler. Their territory included the important towns like Bookerko, Saundri, Manoharpur, Kooi and Bai.Godara Jats, who were the most powerful, had aligned with Rathores due to which Beniwals faced a defeat and RathoreRajput s occupied their territory. There are many exclusive Beniwals villages(257) in Harayna,Panjab,Rajasthan, western UttarPradesh and northern Madhya pradesh.
