The group, together with Environment Victoria, has published a series of reports on Australia's potential transition to cleaner and renewable energy sources.

In January 2005, the Clean Energy Future Group and Environment Victoria released a report titled Toward Victoria's Clean Energy Future. The document included plans to cut the state's greenhouse gas emissions from electricity generation by 2010. The report focused on alternatives to coal-fired power stations such as Hazelwood Power Station.
