Linx AB was a joint venture between the Swedish railway, SJ, and the Norwegian railway NSB. It operated high speed trains on the routes Stockholm C - Oslo S and Oslo S - Göteborg C - København H using Swedish X2 trains. The service pioneered Wi-Fi Internet access.

The service was terminated in 2004 due to competition from low-fares airlines and because tracks in Norway did not allow high enough speeds. The operations in Sweden were continued, while the cross border operation ceased. NSB extended three of its daily regional trains on Østfoldbanen to Gothenburg after Linx closed down. The Oslo - Stockholm route has reopened in 2007 when SJ started operating the service.
