Jerry Hardin Born November 20, 1929
Dallas, TexasJerry Hardin (born November 20, 1929) is an American actor who has made many television and film appearances. He played illegitimate heir, Wild Bill Westchester, in the failed 1982 television series Filthy Rich. One of his most recognizable roles was that of the character Deep Throat in the series The X-Files. He played Samuel Clemens, in addition to one other role in Star Trek: The Next Generation, and also appeared in "Emanations", the ninth episode of Star Trek: Voyager. He has also played Isaac Clark in the Sliders episode Revelations. Notable film roles include Earthquake, Mitchell, 1941, Reds, Missing, Cujo, The Falcon and the Snowman, Blaze, The Milagro Beanfield War, The Hot Spot, The Firm, Ghosts of Mississippi and Hidalgo.
His daughter is actress Melora Hardin.
